COACH'S COMMENTS:

This was by far the best series the boys have put together. Despite one low individual game from most of the bowlers, they all ended up with nice scores and averages to keep the momentum going throughout the match. I was proud of the way they kept their scores up through all three games, a problem we have been having in most of our matches.

The girls’ team also increased their record on Tuesday to 5-1 with their defeat of Evans. Stephanie Baer led the Darters in the first game with a 147 and Ashley Preston contributed a 135 game to give the Darters a nice lead going into the second game. With both girls ending with a series over 400 and Kaitlyn Charters adding a 137 in the second game, the lady Darters finished with an 1853 series leading them to victory over the lady Trojans who ended the day with a 1345 series.

COACH'S COMMENTS:

I thought that the girls bowled well. Our scores are improving as the season progresses and I am really proud of the improvements that the team has made.

DR. PHILLIPS MATCH

The boys took an early lead in the match behind Jon Ladines’ 225 game as they rolled a 921 series against Dr. Phillips’ 868. Jon continued leading the Darters in the second game as he rolled a 214 as the Darters rolled a 939 series. In the final game of the series, Josh Ramlal rolled a 235 and Chris Zugelder rolled a 203 giving the Darters a 970 series.

COACH'S COMMENTS:

The boys really put it all together today with good scores from all bowlers. I have encouraged them to roll 900s for all three games, and today they succeeded. The boys struggled through some issues and were able to overcome them as they bowled consistently good scores. I was extremely proud of the effort they put into the game today.

The girls team began the match with a 570 series, falling behind the Panthers who rolled a 586. During the second and third game, the Lady Darters picked up the pace as they improved their scores. In the second game, two bowlers rolled their high games of the day: Stephanie Baer rolled a 169 and Penni Hilson rolled a 165. After the second game, the girls had taken over the lead 1250 to 1122. In the final game of the series, all bowlers rolled good games and ended the series with a 758 behind Ashley Preston’s 234 game.

COACH'S COMMENTS:

I thought that the girls bowled well. Our scores are improving as the season progresses and I am really proud of the improvements that the team has made.
