The varsity teams continued their competition with matches against Evans on Tuesday, September 18, with both teams securing victories.

| The boys began the match
with a 193 game from Brian Beauchesne and a 195 game from Chris Zugelder,
giving the Darters an early lead in the match. With both boys improving
their game and rolling games over 200 in the second game, the team rolled
a 974 series. The final game had Zugelder and James Morris rolling over
200 while two other Darters rolled games over 195, giving the team a 991
series. The final score was 2820 to 1860. |

The girls’ team also increased their record on Tuesday to 5-1 with their defeat of Evans. Stephanie Baer led the Darters in the first game with a 147 and Ashley Preston contributed a 135 game to give the Darters a nice lead going into the second game. With both girls ending with a series over 400 and Kaitlyn Charters adding a 137 in the second game, the lady Darters finished with an 1853 series leading them to victory over the lady Trojans who ended the day with a 1345 series. |

The boys took an early lead in the match behind Jon Ladines’ 225 game as they rolled a 921 series against Dr. Phillips’ 868. Jon continued leading the Darters in the second game as he rolled a 214 as the Darters rolled a 939 series. In the final game of the series, Josh Ramlal rolled a 235 and Chris Zugelder rolled a 203 giving the Darters a 970 series. Jon Ladines had the high series of the day with a 607, closely followed by Josh Ramlal with a 590 series.

The girls team began the match with a 570 series, falling behind the Panthers who rolled a 586. During the second and third game, the Lady Darters picked up the pace as they improved their scores. In the second game, two bowlers rolled their high games of the day: Stephanie Baer rolled a 169 and Penni Hilson rolled a 165. After the second game, the girls had taken over the lead 1250 to 1122. In the final game of the series, all bowlers rolled good games and ended the series with a 758 behind Ashley Preston’s 234 game. |
